JUST signs MoU with iRise Mogadishu Innovation

On March 3, 2021, Jamhuriya University of Science & Technology (JUST) has mutually signed a collaborative Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the first technology and innovative hub of Somalia, the iRise Mogadishu Innovation. Based on friendship, equality, mutual assistance and common interests, iRise Mogadishu Innovation Hub and Jamhuriya University of Science & Technology (JUST) entered into this MOU to promote well-being of the people of Somalia. The understanding is based on the highest scholarly and professional standards of the two institutions.
The collaboration, although not exhaustive, will cover the following areas of collaboration between the institutions:
- Joint research implementation;
- Incubation and innovation;
- Capacity development;
- Technology transfer;
- Information sharing;
- Resource sharing;
- Youth employment.
