Our Annual Events
J-DAY Event
One of the university's widely awaited activities is the cultural week — the week in which we display how rich and powerful our Somali culture is. Students participate in familiar Somali traditions such as Qur'an recitation, reciting poems, soccer competitions, tug of war, egg holding, running and many others.
Engineering Demo Day
An exciting event where engineering students showcase their projects and innovations. Faculty members and industry professionals evaluate the work and recognize outstanding contributions.
IT Day
IT Day is an exciting event dedicated to showcasing cutting-edge advancements, inspiring ideas, and endless possibilities within technology. Students present research findings and faculty provide encouragement awards to those with the most outstanding research.
ECOM Day
ECOM-DAY is an annual event where Management and Economics students showcase their talents in poetry, debates, business plans, public speaking, and arts and crafts. The event encourages students to contribute to society by displaying their knowledge.
JUMSA Day
The Jamhuriya University Medical Students Association Day provides a platform for medical students to showcase their dedication to medicine. Throughout the day, a diverse range of activities engage, educate, and inspire attendees from medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and dentistry.
