Job Description:
The faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Department of Nursing and Midwifery at Jamhuriya University is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse(s) wishing to develop their career in an education setting – with proven ability in teaching, mentoring, and coaching learners in clinical practice or in the clinical simulation setting. You would be working with our team of academic staff and skills demonstrators throughout the academic year in providing a high-quality student experience in a clinical simulation activity to support their clinical development.
Main Responsibilities:
- To contribute to teaching in the Clinical Simulation facility, and the associated assessment of students.
- To be responsible for identifying the resources necessary to run practice simulation sessions, and to contribute to ordering and maintaining resources.
- To develop the use of a range of learning resources, including e-learning resources and simulation equipment.
- Provide support to academic staff in the use of simulation equipment.
- To contribute a Practice Simulation facility and programs to the department.
- To contribute development programs and workshops in the department.
- To contribute to Quality Assurance monitoring mechanisms.
- To maintain programs of professional development to ensure the relevance of skills and expertise in line with statutory requirements.
- Attend meetings as required
